Who Can Join?
The kids of elementary, middle, and high schools are invited to join and serve the community alongside the ASSET. You can also invite your family and friends to join the mission.
What type of volunteering ASSET offer?
We offer three volunteer programs for elementary, middle & high school students.
Call-Meet-Discuss (CMD) Program
1. Call, Meet & Discuss (talk with elderly/retired scientists on phone or meet them personally if allowed) and prepare a report of their scientific career experience
and achievements, requesting them to answer the following questions.
a. How did she/he look at the science, engineering and technology in their childhood days?
b. Is there any important episode in her/his scientific career?
c. What significant differences she/he is seeing in this advanced era of science, engineering, and technology compared to her/his young age era?
Involve in Educational Activity (IEA) Program
1. Organize educational activities for elementary, middle, and high school students as a team.
a. ASSET Quiz (STEM)
b. Essay writing, reviewing & editing
c. Seminar (3 min presentation, subject matter choosing from current scientific news)
Online Science Fair (OSF) Program
1. Kid’s Science Conference (KSC) Program
a. Prepare and discuss science projects
b. Learn to write science project
c. Review science proposal
