To assist with daily living activities and other demands, the old and the elderly require the assistance of a stick or any other person. The evolution of technology and developments in the field of robotics have led in significant broad development and improvements to fields such as security, transportation, and medicine. Medical assistance technology is growing in popularity and importance among the elderly and disabled groups. A typical electric wheelchair has little computer control and relies on a joystick to control the motor. Smart wheelchairs are often equipped with sensors, cameras, and a computer-based system as the main processing unit to perform specific duties.
Our goal is to create a completely assisted, responsive and smart wheelchair. We intend to incorporate the most useful and user-friendly medical as well as daily life items and tasks into this wheelchair in a simple and compact manner. Basically, the key components that set our concept apart are specially manufactured sensors, oxygen concentrators, and medical assistance tasks like drug dispensing, etc. The patient’s every move will be tracked by a unique mobile application that also provides a complete report or alerts to the consulted doctor in accordance with each medical report.
